What are we doing to help our Employees?
Reach4Crafts is a subsidiary of Reach4Skills, is part of the High Ridge Training group. We recognise that our teams are an important part of our business, and has such we have implemented the following Wellbeing Initiatives to look after their mental health in the workplace:
• We have signed the Mental Health at Work Commitment, which focusses on creating a mentally health workplace culture. This will be done by proactively promoting wellbeing, addressing the causes of work-related mental health problems, and supporting staff who are experiencing mental health problems.
• We have introduced Mental Health Champions across our businesses, ensuring employees have a recognised person to approach if they need support, guidance, or signposting regarding their mental health.
• Annual Staff Surveys that allow our teams to offer their thoughts and feedback anonymously.
• Employee of the Month, with the winner being granted an additional “Duvet Day” off that they can use at their leisure to support their wellbeing.
• Termly Employee Newsletters with updates from within the company, as well as signposting to mental health resources and initiatives.
• Staff have free access to an external Mental Health Helpline as well as support within the company.
• Monthly Wellness and Tea sessions hosted by Cedars Training Academy to encourage downtime and offer wellness tips that can be incorporated into their working life.
• Implementing Wellbeing KPIs in monthly 1:1s to acknowledge and encourage ways in which employees can actively improve their mental and physical wellbeing at work.
• Wellbeing Action Plans for employees who are suffering from mental ill health or require support with their wellbeing.
• Wellbeing Zone on each of our websites that signposts to useful resources relating to physical health, mental health, life, and work.
• For Mental Health Awareness Week we offer our staff an additional 1 hour off to take at their leisure, to encourage staff to “switch off” and take some personal time for their own wellbeing.
