Boogaloo Boutique is owned by Tracy Bourne specialising in beautiful bespoke furniture as seen in Vog It’s quite literally the best of both worlds.

Tracy Bourne is a furniture artist based on the South Coast of England in a seaside village called Southsea. She specialises in luxury upcycled and bespoke furniture by applying high end wallpapers and prints using the ancient Chinese art of decoupage .She creates custom designed pieces by taking a piece of well made vintage furniture and giving it a new exciting twist. The majority of her upcycle

d pieces are antique, retro or vintage, and as such come with a history of use which is reflected in their appearance and is the very essence of an antique or vintage piece. She celebrates their individuality and history and thinks you will as well. Her upcycled furniture designs vary, as can be seen in her portfolio, but generally traditional techniques are used to preserve the original heritage and craftsmanship of the piece. Where possible, she also uses eco-products and sources materials from local independent suppliers. She then uses unusual or luxury wallpapers and prints to decoupage each piece to give them a contemporary maximalist look. Every item is meticulously created by her in her studio to a very high standard and given layers of varnish for protection. If you love unusual and striking pieces of furniture art then you will love her creations! She aims to keep your home free from the mass produced. Commission projects are always welcome. The end result will be a charming piece of high quality bespoke furniture. She ships nationwide for free.

My lovely customer commissioned a chest of drawers from us 10 years ago.(!)...she still loved the furniture but it didn't match her decor any more so she asked us for a revamp...
We stripped it back, painted it black and decoupaged with this gorgeous metallic Trailing Orchid paper from Osborne & Little
What do we think of the transformation?

How good are these cupcakes made by my very own Rebel-Star??? 😍

These were made especially for a friend’s birthday and I honestly think they are AMAZING! The detail on the flowers, the colours and those gorgeous little butterflies… I mean, look at them! 🧁

We all know him for making his incredible painted punk jackets, but I think he may have just discovered another hidden talent! 😂

So… who thinks he should start making these professionally??? 👀

I reckon there’s definitely a market for punk jackets AND fancy cupcakes! 😂❤️

10 years ago today, whilst on holiday in the South of France, I found a lump in my breast.
Probably the thing that saved my life was the fact that I was wearing a bikini with absolutely no support. 😂 I put my hand on my chest and there it was.
Luckily, I caught it early, although it was fast spreading, so I had to have two lumpectomies to make sure they got it all. Then came 6 months of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, injections and, eventually, 10 years of Tamoxifen.
I also gave up booze in 2019, just to give myself the best possible chance.
And here I am, 10 years later, having just run 19k in preparation for the Great South Run. I honestly feel fitter and healthier now than I did 10 years ago.
I remember going to a talk called Demystifying Chemotherapy, which was actually quite frightening. The nurse told us that our lives would never be the same again.
That was absolutely the opposite of what I wanted to hear.
But actually, she may have been right.
The shadow of cancer never completely goes away. It’s always there somewhere in the back of your mind. But my life is different now, and in so many ways, I’m happier, healthier and stronger than I was 10 years ago.
So to anyone going through it right now, I feel you. ❤️
I hope this gives you even the tiniest glimmer of hope.

Had the absolute pleasure of delivering this cabinet to my customer in London. We replaced the legs on this cabinet so it would fir under the picture rail.

We transformed this vintage brown cabinet into a little masterpiece !!
She had really cute bones but was just a sad dark brown. Now she's all blues and bronzes and white gold 💙 ✨️
Glass added on top for extra protection and our signature snakeskin lining

I was soo delighted to make this nursery set last year it was a labour of love! It makes my heart sing to think this little one will spend her formative years with something I've made for her 💚💚

Her parents have done a very excellent job transforming a former pub and honestly I'd like to move in next week! How cute is this nursery??
