It's been just over a year that our gorgeous Amber has been at PACT. Through no fault of her own did she end up with us and has always been overlooked, possibly due to her breed.
She is a staffy-cross with the sweetest, most gentle heart. She loves to play and have belly scratches.

We’re back with Opera-lele’s Quiz Night on Sunday 20th August from 6pm BST.
This time, we’ll be raising money for the people of Maui who are suffering so much with fires across the island.
It’ll be streamed LIVE here on Facebook and all you need is a pencil and paper to join in.
There will be opportunities to donate during and after the live stream.

A teacher gave a balloon to every student, who had to inflate it, write their name on it and throw it in the hallway. The teacher then mixed all the balloons. The students were then given 5 minutes to find their own balloon. Despite a hectic search, no one found their balloon.

At that point, the teacher told the students to take the first balloon that they found and hand it to the person whose name was written on it. Within 5 minutes, everyone had their own balloon.

The teacher said to the students: "These balloons are like happiness. We will never find it if everyone is looking for their own. But if we care about other people's happiness, we'll find ours too."

Folks often ask us how we can offer such incredible value for money. The true answer is that, by working with IOW Tours, we are able to get group discounts on things like ferry crossings and hotel rooms. However, we thought we’d try to work out roughly what you’d pay if you were to book everything yourself. Our £239 weekend looks something like this:
Ferry Crossing: from £175 return
Hotel room: from £220 (for 3 nights)
Morning coffee: £3 per day (2 days)
Workshops: we offer 4 as part of your ticket price so that would cost around £24
Our running total is £415 and we haven’t even started to factor in performances by our internationally renowned ukulele stars.
As you can see, this represents amazing value for money.
Our Jersey event next month will cost you £299 plus travel which is a little more, but the hotel resort is fantastic and all workshops and a sightseeing trip are included!
Our Eastbourne event in October is just £239 in the wonderful Victorian Queen’s Hotel.
We do everything we can to keep the cost to you as low as we can make it.
