‘Heathcliffe’ has finally made it all the way up to Scotland, and am pleased to say my client loves him!

The brief: A bureau to fit a petite space along side ‘Seaspray Steve’ in her annex, which overlooks a lake. (Swipe to see Steve too).

The design: My client loves all things Bronte (rather aptly since I come from Haworth) and she wanted a rugged moorland scene, but rather than the trickling of Bronte Waterfalls she wanted a crashing sea scene, and chosen quotes from Wuthering Heights on each side.

Hello hello! Just a quick one before i get stuck into a workshop for the day.

Mother’s Day will be fast up on us and so I’ve got my a$$ into gear and released a few workshop dates ! They are a lovely gift - spending a few hours getting a bit creative, chatting, having a giggle - and of course you get to take home your creations as a memory 💕

I’ll be at The Power House Community Hub on Monday teaching upcycling skills - come along and say hi, meet new people and learn a new skill at the same time! ☺️💙

We’ll be looking at revamping plant pots ready for Spring, the fundamentals of tackling bigger pieces, and I might squeeze in teaching crackle effect too …. It’s a lovely vibe, very friendly space - lits of giggles and story sharing ☺️

Another commission delivered and another happy customer ☺️🙏

This beautiful gentleman’s wardrobe had seen better days (swipe to see before), but my lovely client wanted to zhuzh it up and together we visioned a revamp. Hand-painted in Farrow & Ball (Oxford Stone, Paean Black), with ReColour for the cranes and the teal highlight, and of course a touch of gold leaf 🌟, it’s now a stylish statement piece for his bedroom 💙

It was so bonkers before Xmas, I didn’t get chance to show any of the commissions i’d been working on 🙈. This was for a new client, delivered in time for Xmas ☺️🙏.

The brief:
“A chest of drawers for my baby’s room, like the one that featured in Period Living Magazine, but bigger”

The result:
Hand-painted wild flowers with ladybirds, butterflies and bees nestled and fluttering amongst the foliage and blooms - the little creatures her baby girl can discover as she becomes a toddler 💕

Painted usung Annie Sloan Pemberley, and multiple ReColour paints, and of course featuring a few paint splats here and there 😂🎨🫟
