me instructors. We are keen to chat through your training requirements with you before booking courses to ensure the course undertaken will meet your expectations and requirements. Practical training can take place on our RIB in Poole or we can send an Instructor to your boat. Our Instructors are used to training on both single and twin engines boats and cover both RIBs and hard boats. Our courses are generally aimed at adults but we can run courses for those as young as 8. Training courses usually lasts 1-2 days, the most popular of which is the RYA Level 2 Powerboat Course. This is equally suitable for complete beginners and also those looking to refine their skills. Completion of this course usually also enables you to apply for an ICC or International Certificate. We specialise in offering courses with a ratio of two students to one instructor which is great for courses with friends or family and allows plenty of 'driving' time. We offer bespoke training from a minimum of a half day and you might choose to focus on close quarter boat handling in the marina or practical navigation or bespoke training for crew members so that they could take over in a crisis. Our shore based theory courses include VHF Marine Radio courses and navigation courses. Again we like to work with small groups so the courses are ideal for families and friends attending together. Our radio kit is mobile so we can bring the training to you or your club if required.
