Don’t forget to get those little repair jobs fixed before you hibernate your caravan/motorhome for the winter. The service vehicle that I use is fully equipped with mains electric and water meaning that I can service your tourer in a storage compound, on a campsite or at your home address.

So a nice little job completed today. Changing a Truma Ultraflow Compact socket. If you have one of these and you are finding it difficult to push the trigger in, worrying that the plastic might crack. Look out for my next thread which will have a tip on how to resolve this issue.

Having your caravan regularly serviced or habitation inspection on your motorhome can identify water ingress issues before they become a major problem. The cost of a service for a single axle caravan from £190 plus parts could be far cheaper than repairing the damage caused by long term water ingress issues. So I keep finding people that are unaware of one of the maintenance requirements for Alde heating/hot water systems. The Glycol fluid in these systems should be flushed out and replaced at regular intervals with an Alde approved product to help prolong the life of your boiler. Depending on the product grade currently in the system this could be after two years or more commonly after five years. If you need to top up your system then please only use Alde approved products and if using a concentrate, dilute with de-ironised water.
As an Alde Partner I have the expertise to carry out this procedure for you and prices start from £240.

With just over one month until Easter, now is the perfect time to be checking your tourer to make sure everything is functioning correctly. It’s a sure sign that spring is just around the corner when the Caravan, Camping & Motorhomes Show is on at NEC Birmingham. If you are going to the show on Friday 21st February then please come and say hello. Now is the time to get your caravan or motorhome booked in for it’s pre-season service/habitation inspection. All servicing and repairs can be carried out at a storage compound, on your drive or on a seasonal pitch as the service vehicle used is fully equipped with 12v/240v electric and water supply.
As you can see, this week I had some help from some fury friends while on a campsite repairing a caravan.
Full caravan service from £190 for a single axle or £220 for a twin axle plus parts and £160 plus parts for a motorhome habitation inspection.
