A stunning walnut and marquetry commode now available in the shop or online. By Edwards & Roberts of London. In a 18th century style, from the second half of the 19th century.

The top decorated with a vase of flowers surrounded by further flowers and foliage. Within a serpentine front and flanking sides. Four graduated drawers also with conforming foliate marquetry work

The uppermost drawer with the Edwards & Roberts stamp. Flanked serpentine spreading angles on paw carved front feet.

The whole piece is in good presentable condition. This item has recently been professionally restored. Some missing marquetry has been replaced. The whole item had been sensitively re polished.

Beautifully designed Italian made mid century chairs. Teak ladder back curved backrest, tapering legs and rush seat pads. Paper remnant labels. Made by Consorzio Sedie Friuli.
