The Weld Space delivers short courses in plymouth alongside an evening class programme that specialises in welding lessons. Our welding courses are one of the great things to do in Plymouth and a great activity for adults, as a Gift Experience or Business away day. Our welding classes are for beginners and allow you to learn something new, develop skills and have fun in a creative and safe way. We

aim to provide a high quality creative experience. Taking part in our courses will give you a chance to design and make a product or object from Metal. All our courses take place in our fully equipped workshop at Alma Yard a revitalised rope factory, which comprises a series of buildings dating back to the mid 19th century and is home to a community of creatives including The Weld Space. It is located on an iconic coastal rise just a short walk from Plymouth’s Barbican. Through our welding courses you will receive 1-2-1 instruction in the use our high quality equipment and machinery. We provide the materials and personal protective equipment required. All our welding classes are structured in a fun, social and relaxed way that allows you to explore welding at your own pace.
