We made a door for this Artizans of wood project at the Goodwood estate. These were a couple of neglected planks of oak found in an old barn on the estate. We essentially eased scribed them together then built a carriage over the bench and routed out perfectly flat dovetail housing to ‘slide’ 😆 (hammer fit)the rails home. No glue, no fixings here. Fun project

This was another collaboration with the talented Artizans of wood. This was a derelict old Meat larder from the hunt at the goodwood estate. Teggy designed a new roof beautifully executed by Dylan and his crew.

The Sustainability Centre
Had a lovely day teaching green woodworking, Lots of laughter and everyone managed to make a milking stool from coppiced chestnut. Using a froe, side axe and draw knife

Really enjoyed this build for the Woodmouse forest school at the sustainability centre. A massive thanks to Dylan and Artizans of wood who have collaborated with us on this one. Thanks also to Teggy for designs and carpentry. Certainly gets the award for wettest fitting yet! Really hope the kids enjoy it too.

Remove a much enjoyed but cramped and dated kitchen. We saved the granite worktop and some of the caressing by removing the tiles and rotten subfloor while propping it up in sections.

Made from a pile old sash windows, doors bricks roofing slates, old glass and what we could find in skips or the shed.
