Stage 3 of gate build. I painted this gate yellow because it faces East and is meant to represent the sunrise. A few more coats of paint & it should be done.

Stage 2 of gate. Construction completed & gate hung. All that's left now is to paint it.

Stage 1 of making a gate from scraps of wood, including an old headboard frame. Mortise and Tenon the joints for strength. Glued together, just ran out of timber to finish the bottom off. More to come tomorrow.

A little project I've been working on, joining two caravans . Five days to get it sealed water & air tight including a felt roof. Insulation everywhere to keep it toastie. Photos of the inside coming soon.

One of the challenges of making bespoke furniture in old buildings is trying to make something level and plumb in a room that isn't either of those things. This one was no exception. Welsh cottages are a good test.
