A fresh new floor can completely transform how a kitchen feels.

This warm neutral vinyl was fitted throughout the kitchen and hallway, creating a seamless flow from one space to the other.

Stair runners are one of those things that can completely change how a home feels and they're something we get asked about more and more.

Done well, a runner adds warmth, character and a real sense of care to a space that often gets overlooked. The pattern, the edging, the way it sits on the stair, every detail matters and every job is different.

It's also one of those choices that's much easier to get right in person. Seeing how a pattern scales on a stair, feeling the weight of the fabric, understanding how the finish will look in your light, that's where the showroom really comes into its own.

When a project comes together like this, it's hard not to feel proud of the finished result.

This was a full upstairs installation - bedroom, dressing area and landing all carpeted throughout in a beautifully soft, warm neutral. The tone works perfectly with the dark furniture and joinery, keeping the space feeling calm and considered rather than cold.

Getting the right carpet for a project like this isn't just about colour. The texture, weight and finish all play a part in how the room feels to live in day to day, and that's where coming in to see and feel options in person really makes the difference.

Something that often surprises people when they visit us is how much is going on upstairs.

Our bed centre covers a full range of beds and mattresses - divans, bed frames, storage beds and more - all laid out so you can properly see, compare and try them before you decide.

It's one of those things that's hard to appreciate until you're standing in it. A lot of customers tell us they had no idea the bed centre was there, and that once they'd seen it, they wished they'd come sooner.

If you're thinking about a new bed or mattress and haven't been up yet, it's well worth a look.

This whole bathroom floor was fitted in the same stone-effect LVT throughout. What makes this job stand out is the detail. The curved bath plinth has been cut and shaped to follow the exact contour of the corner bath, finished with a brushed gold edge trim that picks up the copper fittings perfectly.

That kind of finishing detail takes time and skill to get right. But it's what separates a good flooring job from a great one.

Recently, the team delivered and installed a Highgrove PowerAdjust with Copper Sleep mattresses - a split adjustable super king, perfect for couples who need different levels of comfort and support. Each side adjusts independently, so no more compromising on firmness.

One question we get asked a lot at this time of year is whether spring is a good time to replace flooring.

The honest answer is yes!

Longer days mean better natural light in the showroom, which makes it much easier to see how colours and textures will actually look in your home. Windows are open, rooms feel fresher, and it's often easier to move furniture and let new flooring settle properly before the colder months arrive.
