We started off as The Furniture House 13 years ago and sold new furniture in ranges like any other furniture shop. As the years progressed, we started to notice the quality dropping but the price rising. So, with having vast experience in French polishing and restoration we decided to start buying used, damaged furniture and restoring them to new again and we noticed the restored was outselling th
e new. So, with that in mind we took the decision to stop selling new and sell just restored. We have been doing just restored for just over 4 years now and not looked back. Now with vast networks sourcing our furniture from all over the country, the shops price for quality is unrivalled. The outbreak of COVID-19 and its lockdowns meant we had time to take photos of our furniture and start using social media more and in turn we created our Facebook shop. This opened a new avenue for us but we soon realised our name and branding should reflect what we do. We have over 30 years' experience in furniture restoration and with that we know it takes just as long to restore low quality furniture as it does to restore high quality furniture. When you buy from us not only are you helping save the planet by buying restored, you are also getting a better-quality piece for less money than if you were to buy new.
