Location: Chalgrove, Oxfordshire

Due to our increasing workload we are looking for Cabinet Makers, both experienced and trainee, full time or part time.

The right candidates need to have a keen eye for detail and pride in the quality of work produced and have a positive 'can do’ attitude. You might be fully skilled and have previous experience in this type of work or be interested in being trained up.

Our normal working hours are 7:30am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am – 1.30pm Friday. Overtime sometimes available (optional). Hourly pay according to experience.

Contrax Furniture Ltd was established thirty two years ago and is a medium sized manufacturer of high-end bespoke joinery and architectural furniture offering a part-time vacancy based in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire. Hours of work are 9am to 2.30pm Tuesday to Friday.
We would welcome a successful candidate to join our friendly team where you will be responsible for the day to day running of the accounts department. You will have immediate responsibility to the two directors and will also be required to liaise with HR as necessary.
It is essential that any successful applicant has proven experience in Sage Line 50 Accounts and Sage 50 Payroll together with a good solid knowledge of spreadsheets. The ideal candidate will have a ‘can do’ attitude to their own work and in helping other members of the team.
Responsibilities:
• Manage obligations to suppliers and customers
• Reconcile cash flow and bank accounts
• Reconcile other financial statements
• Prepare, send and store invoices
• Reconcile supplier invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes, process and store
• Monitor HMRC account and investigate any discrepancies
• Ensure timely reconciliation and payment of crown obligations
• Submit tax returns including P11D year-end returns
• Identify and address discrepancies in the accounts
• Provide weekly reports to the management team
• Run payroll and submit pension data
• Prepare year end final accounts for submission to accountants
• Prepare and run payroll year end with timely distribution of documents
• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts for the management team
• Manage the archive
• Provide full support to all members of the team either in an accounts or admin capacity

Requirements:
• Proven work experience
• Sage Line 50 Accounts
• Sage 50 Payroll
• Good knowledge of book keeping procedures
• Solid knowledge of excel spreadsheets using formulas
• Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
• Good organisation and time-management abilities
• Thoroughness with a good attention to detail
• Reliable, responsible, confidential

We are a medium sized manufacturer of high-end bespoke joinery and architectural furniture, offering either a full or part-time vacancy based in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire.

We would welcome the successful candidate to join our friendly and creative team, where you will be responsible for the generation of detailed 2D CAD drawings; for both production & CNC purposes.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and IT skills and be satisfied to occasionally undertake site-surveys and attend design/client project meetings. It is essential that any successful applicant has proven experience in cabinet-making/joinery fields and must also be able to demonstrate a sound command of using AutoCAD LT. The ability to manage project-requirements too, will be hugely advantageous.
