πŸ“ KILDRESS

Line sorted for Charlene today – fresh new line and ready to go! βœ…

Apparently there's a local leg end around these parts by the name of Biff McGurk…
I didn't bump into him, but if Biff ever needs his line done, tell him The Line Doctor is ready. πŸ’ͺπŸ˜„

Thanks, Charlene – happy drying! 🧺

πŸ“ LOUGHMACRORY & MAGUIRESBRIDGE

I stopped with John in Loughmacrory – he's got a shrine outside his house. I thought, "Fair play, big Eoin McElholm fan!" πŸ™Œ
Turns out… it's for Michael Murphy! Donegal John i realised!
Either way, John's line got a new string – shrine or no shrine, laundry waits for no legend.

Also, big thanks to Cynthia from Maguiresbridge – another happy customer sorted! βœ…

πŸ“ DERRYLIN

Big thanks to Liz for letting me give her clothesline a full fix – brand new line AND new wheels! βœ…

Why are new wheels so important?
The wheels let you roll the whole line in and out of a shed, garage, or under shelter – especially handy during our unpredictable weather. β˜€οΈπŸŒ§οΈ

Worn or seized wheels mean you're dragging, struggling, or leaving the line out in the rain. Fresh wheels = smooth movement, less hassle, and a line that lasts longer.

Liz can now tuck her line away easily when the showers roll in – no heavy lifting, no swearing at stuck wheels. πŸ˜„

πŸ“ INNISMORE / BELLANALECK AREA

Thanks to Tracey for letting me restring her line today – job done! βœ…

Did you know? Bellanaleck comes from the Irish BΓ©al Átha na Leac, meaning "the mouth of the ford of the flagstones" – a smooth crossing, just like your laundry line now! πŸ˜„

πŸ“ INNISMORE / CARRYBRIDGE

Thanks to Gemma for letting me fit a fresh new line today – job done! βœ…

Did you know? Carrybridge is named after the nearby Carrybridge over the River Erne, and the area is famous for its stunning lakeland views and the annual Carrybridge Classic Boat Festival. ⛡️

Gemma's line won't be sailing anywhere – just hanging strong for laundry days!

πŸ“ IRVINESTOWN

Thanks to Jenny for letting me fit a fresh new line today – but let me tell you, the risk assessment was thorough! πŸ˜‚

Jenny's a health and safety officer, so she made sure every knot was tied, the tension was compliant, and I had my hi-vis on. βœ…

Line passed with flying colours. No PPE needed for laundry day… unless you count rubber gloves for the bleach. πŸ§€πŸ˜„

πŸ“ TATTYREIGH

Big thanks to Kate for letting me bring two tired clotheslines back to life yesterday βœ…
Fresh new strings and wheels, job done right.

Did you know? Tattyreigh comes from the Irish TΓ‘ite Riach, meaning "grey plots" or "speckled land" – a nod to the local soil.

Two lines, good as new. Enjoy, Kate!

Two lines fixed today – for Seline and Mairead! βœ…
Seline got a fresh new line and x4 Wheels, Mairead got a new line + 2 new wheels – good as new!

Did you know? Galbally comes from the Irish Gallbhaile, meaning "the town of the strangers" – but there's nothing strange about wanting a proper clothesline! πŸ˜„

Thanks, ladies – enjoy the drying!

πŸ“ KILLYCLOGHER

Big thanks to Sinead for letting me sort her line today – a fresh new line fitted! βœ…

Did you know? Killyclogher comes from the Irish Coill an Chlochair, meaning "the wood of the stony place" – named after the rocky land where an old church once stood. β›ͺ️

Sinead's line is now stony‑free and ready to go!
