Hello! I have one space that has come up on my Saturday class on the 23rd May.

***New Saturday Upholstery Class Dates for 2026***
May 23rd - 1 space
June 27th - Full
Classes are from 10 until 5 and include Morning scones/pastries, soup at lunch and a fine piece in the afternoon. Plus tea and coffee. The cost is £95 per class.
The class is suitable for all levels of upholstery. You just need to bring your chosen project and some fabric to cover it with. I provide all other materials at trade price and I have all the tools here that you will need.
To book, please email me at [email protected] and I will get back to you to confirm your place.
All classes will need to be paid for at the time of booking. Once I have confirmed that you have a space in the class, you can go ahead and pay.

This lovely wing back with great sentimental value has just gone back to its owners. The fabric used on the back, sides and scatter cushion was also important. It was too thin to use on the high use part of the chair, so I used it on the back and sides and also made a scatter cushion so that it could be seen from all angles. The fabric was a great complement to the chair and fabric.

This big sofa is the reason I have been very quiet lately. It was a total rebuild from the frame up using completely traditional upholstery methods and materials. A massive job which really tested my knowledge and skill. It’s now finished and back in its home and will provide a comfy seat for many years to come. The fabric is from and is Tresco in Peppermint from their Arcadia collection.
Also, I have to say a massive thank you to Fiona from who helped out with sewing, overlocking and making miles of piping 😂. Thanks chum, I’d probably still be working on it if it weren’t for your help 🥰

Definitely the most springs I have tied in one piece of furniture!
I think the most important thing I learned here was to trust myself and my experience rather than over researching to try and find an example of how to do something. Having said that, a couple of videos did help along the way 😝. One from and one from . You guys make it look so easy!
Of course I can’t not mention whose Scandinavian spring techniques course that I went on in October as part of the Festival of Upholstery definitely gave me the knowledge and practice (and knots) to tackle this with confidence. Thanks Katja!! .

Finally, a chair for us!! I picked up 8 of these from a local hotel that was doing a refurb. Our current dining chairs are hand-me-downs and pretty uncomfortable but these, they are SO comfortable. Made for long dinners, playing games around the table or just sitting. I am super motivated to recover the remaining 7 😍. Beautiful fabrics from and
