JH Woodcarving & Furniture-Making Maker of wooden things from furniture to spatulas specialising in woodcarving using traditional skills and locally sourced timber.

I take commissions for all sorts of woodworking projects ranging from large to small, and I specialize in carved dovetailed boxes, chopping boards, carved spoons and carved wall ornaments using locally sourced hardwoods. These make great personalised gifts, ornaments or useful utensils for the home. I can relief-carve any picture I'm sent and make it a stand alone ornament, part of a box or a piec

e of bespoke furniture. I usually work in oak and other hardwoods but am happy to work to clients' personal requirements.
