Hello all, just thought I’d check in and say AUP! 😘😘👋

I’ll be trading at the wonderful on 18th Dec, the last weekend before Chrimbo🎄🙏 Find lots of other amazing independents there too! I’m always in great company 🥰

Sadly this could be one of my last markets with House of Braz as I’m venturing into other exciting projects. Expect to find lots of bargains, as I’m mega keen to get rid of some stock.

Even though this is likely to be one of my last with HOB, I’m still keen to get amongst it and soak up some Chrimbo vibes!🎅🏽 So please grab a mulled wine and say hi… 💜💜 I’m always here for a chat 😅

Who doesn’t LOVE a Wall Pocket/Vase?! 🌈👒💐 I’m so fond of these, that I’ve built up a little collection which I’m not ready to let go of... yet 🌝 BUT watch this space as I will source ones to sell on here...

A little back story / history on Wall Pocket Vases.. 💌

Wall Pockets are flat backed decorative objects that hang on a wall, providing a wonderful vase effect. They were actually around centuries ago, but made out of cloth or wood. If you didn’t have the luxury of a chest of drawers or cupboards, they were used as a early form of storage.

It wasn’t until the 18th century, that we first saw Porcelain Wall Pocket Vases. They had, and still have a multitude of uses including displaying fresh and dried flowers, living plants, herbs, storing soap bars, or toothbrushes.

Staffordshire, SylvaC, Wedgwood, Royal Worcester, Royal Doulton, and Meissen all produce the most elegant of Wall Pockets... 🤩

Why not add something three dimensional to your gallery wall...? They bring harmony & balance, & add an extra visual point of interest... 🌈✨

Sold some pieces today at & what a lovely day it was 🥰✨So nice to chat to people in person & soak in the ambiance round there 🤩 It gave me such a confidence boost, I felt great! ☺️

Just listed 🌈🌈✨✨ Set of 6 Antique Fish Cutlery with Engraved Decoration. These are silver plate & are made by Harrison Fisher & Co. The hallmark reads “HF & Co S EP”. I’m not sure of the composition of the handles but so pretty nonetheless 👒✨
