Another day another exciting project that's started amongst many.

I've been commissioned to restore this petit bentwood chair from my stock. It's polish has been stripped off and I need to finish sanding it whilst my client chooses a fabric. It's not going to be boring I can confirm that because I have already worked on a Halabala commission for her many years ago.

Remember the green trunk? Fully restored and repaired this old gal is ready to be used as a bedside table.

The four snickers bars are now transformed into elegant green velvet benches. Perfectly coordinated with the buildings colour scheme, subtle but strong top stitching and restored feet. Understated in order to not detract from the galleries art exhibitions.

Yesterday I was on the road doing a big delivery before collection of a new project in Leicester at Canopy, we've repurposed furniture from the Museum.

Then heading north of the city to another regular client to help with some boat curtains and coo over the ducklings and eat cake.

A really busy enjoyable day out in the van for me.

Watch this space for all the projects. It's busy busy busy so I'm full of protein to keep me full of energy for all the lifting and shifting.

This beautiful little corner chair is restored. I've used a professional solution that I mix to clean and hydrate the woodwork before waxing. The seat has been stripped and layers rebuilt with antique style studs to finish the edges of the beautiful leather upholstery.
