As part of our work renewing the leadwork on the clock tower we were asked to remove the weathervane and cockerel so that it could be painted and re gilded. Well done Mr. Marsh a lovely job.
In case you are wondering the dents on the cockerel are bullet marks. A favourite pastime for folks years ago.
