The Danish homestore was created way back in 1986 when the stigma of buying "used" furniture meant shame and poverty. Roger Harrison realized that there was a need for better choices and that this could be offered with Danish furniture. He set about cleaning all the pieces he purchased from house clearance and auction before packing them into his small van bound for England. This is still the case

today, that all items are cleaned and restored, but now the market has changed totally with the stigma of buying "used" long gone, replaced by the joy of owning a "Pre-loved" piece with all its character, patina and story to tell. It is even more important today to find and restored the real gems created by the great Danish designers of the Midcentury period, something which Roger & his son Simon do all the time. The shop is filled with beautiful furniture arranged over 2 floors and ever changing. So if midcentury modern, Danish design or great quality furniture is your thing then you will be in for a treat with every visit to the Nottingham showroom.
