So today marks week 5 of the furniture painting course at the wonderful Emmaus Village Carlton! How are we this far already! ⏳

Today, all being well, we will be exploring gold leafing techniques and observing a resin mix and pour. Next week all pieces will be finished and lacquered or waxed ready for their new, designated upcycled furniture space in the shop!

Be sure to come and visit the new space, browse the hard work and creativity, and maybe keep an eye out for that unique little gem you’ve been looking for!

Join The Gallery By Jess at Lago Lounge for a relaxed, joy-filled Sip & Paint evening where you'll create our beautiful “Textured Meadow” - a dreamy wildflower scene full of colour, depth, movement and springtime vibes 🌼🎨

Think long evenings, the hum of bees, a warm breeze (less rain!) and blooming flowers as you pop that phone down and switch into full creativity mode in the company of others. Bring people, meet new people, have fun!

Setting up for our monthly Clay Club at Lago Lounge last night.

I love the whole process from selecting the equipment and packing the car up to building the space and creating the environment in which to share the experience. I also love the clear up, it’s a time of thanks and gratitude for the opportunity to do, once again, exactly what I love. Every place mat cleaned, every tool wiped, every glass collected, every chair pushed back into place is evidence that people have come together to spend time. No phones, no pressure, just pure connection and community.

What’s not to love 💜

Thursday Women's Clay Circle will be going ahead in Wollaston from 7.00 - 8.30pm.

Such a peaceful evening at our final ‘forget-me-not’ sip & paint session on Sunday.

We decided to mix it up a bit and painters could either recreate the watercolour artwork as presented, interpret and combine mixed media techniques or go for a spot of decoupage. I think you will agree they are all uniquely beautiful.

So very proud of and thankful to everyone who came along to support this campaign raising funds and awareness for Alzheimer's Society
and thank you to Lago Lounge, Rushden Lakes for always offering such welcoming surroundings and fabulous food and drink 🍸
