From pink to green..... four dining chairs with saggy bottoms and tired foam have been given a new lease of life ππ
You never know what youβre going to find when you remove the existing cover from a piece of furniture. These chairs had plastic weave webbing as a base which was saggy and offered little support to a posterior!! Originally fitted with a 2β deep foam that had become indented in the middle as a consequence of the saggy bottom was later over laid with another 1β layer of foam to compensate with some folded Dacron wrap strategically placed in the dent!
Plastic webbing replaced with jute webbing, existing foam replaced with 3β deep foam and chairs recovered with linum II jade fabric which was professionally treated for fire retardancy and stain guard π₯finished with a handmade trim, hand sewn around the base to hide the staples πͺ‘
