We have moved!

After many happy years based in Newport Pagnell, we are now located in Northampton, near Abington Park. Although we have moved location, we still cover Milton Keynes, Bedford, Olney, Buckingham, Leighton Buzzard, Newport Pagnell as well as Northampton, Towcester, Kettering, Wellingborough and the surrounding areas.

With over 40 years experience as upholsterers, we take pride in traditional methods of repair and reupholstery learned through skilled apprenticeships. Our level of expertise means we are fully at home with all aspects, styles and eras of furniture from traditional horsehair upholstery up to the latest contemporary styles and methods of construction.

This style of dining chair is in so many UK homes. Covered in leather-effect vinyl, it wears and flakes with age and can look tatty even though the chairs themselves are still in a great condition. Does anyone have a good idea where we could donate them? A local charity or college who might need them for creative fabric work?

Due to unprecedented customer demand, we are fully booked in the workshop now until the autumn and have taken the decision to close our books for the time being. Apologies to any customers who are looking for work to be done before that - we'll let you know when we are open again (likely September at the earliest).

Steve's back in the workshop this week after a nasty bout of Covid. A week out with no stand-in means that some delivery dates will be delayed - we'll be in touch with customers that it affects.

Also, a knock on is that we are closing our books to new work until late May 2022 to help clear the backlog. If you have something that you'd like us to quote on, and you aren't in a hurry, please get back in touch then.
