I caught the news today and saw the media saying we are in a recession because Q4 2023 our spending was down…. Well if you put interest rates up people naturally Spend less, and the people that have surplus cash lock it away to gain interest instead of spending, so I wanted everyone to know we are here to help in tough times and with the way the world is with all the rogue and scammers out there I want my customers and potential customers to know all about me, so your comfortable with me in your home and passing on my details to others to help them too, plus I can build my business and be around to serve for many years to come :-)
I often have customers ask why I’m a Plumber/Gas Engineer, In 2007 I saw Mr Mullins of Pimlico Plumbers in London and he inspired me, he started in a basement and grew to a huge size, I did actually work for him back in 2017 as I wanted to know what was so special and what he did differently - good and bad so I gathered all the info I needed, one day in the not to distant future I’m hoping to find the right people to help me grow and be as successful and I can’t do it without my wonderful customer….. so thank you all :-)
I started my working life working for my dad, he installed a great work ethic, very hard on me but set me in good stead, I studied carpentry at mouton and then mechanical & electrical engineering at Northampton college, in march 2001 I was made redundant from an engineering firm and found myself in the motor industry selling cars, this lead to a very successful career working for Renault and finally BMW /MINI with 8 good years with roles in sales up to Sales & Finance Management.
I was always successful communicating with clients and delivering exceptional customer service and that has put me in a great position understanding customers needs and wants, issues and feelings, if I have any issues at work I really take it personally and look for a solution, most trades would either walk away or talk a load of rubbish and hope the customer is bamboozled.
I actually started training as a plumber in 2008 whilst working, I went to college twice a week for 5 years, I worked with a fantastic plumber/Gas engineer in Northampton throughout that time
as an apprentice to gather my knowledge and in 2017 I finally went out on my own and never looked back, my Gas safe was done in 2019 although I’ve been working on boilers under supervision since 2008, I had my first Gas safe inspection the other day and it went really well, the inspector said I made it look easy and was more than happy with our processes on safety and doing the job properly.
We genuinely have our customers best interest at heart, I’m not the cheapest in town but rest assured if you call me , I will get back to you and if we make an appointment I always turn up - unless there is a serious issue in which case I will call.
I just wanted to share with you an issue I had with a huge system, the client has had the boiler serviced and I have been servicing it for the last two years, it’s a 12 year old Vaillant System boiler.
Unfortunately the pump went down just after Christmas so we replaced it, 2 weeks later it happen again, we never checked the pump as it was new but after stripping the boiler down to component form, replacing sensors and spending numerous times on the phone to vaillant technical we replaced the pump again, it worked but not properly, I was at my wits end- I was convinced the boiler was okay and didn’t warrant a replacement , lots of engineers would have given up and just sold a new boiler but not me, in the end we called vaillant out, I shadowed him to delve into settings that needed to be changed, the boiler is now working fine and is probably good for another 5 years :-)
I don’t know everything, but when we have an issue we get to the bottom of it.
A couple of pictures :-)
Please get in touch should you have any plumbing and heating issues or you fancy an new bathroom.
Best wishes
