Cabinet Maker/ Bench Joiner/ Wood Machinist
Terry Ashmore Cabinet Maker and Bespoke Joinery are looking for a fully skilled and experienced bespoke cabinet maker and bench joiner to work both within the workshop and fitting on site.
Responsibilities will include taking projects from drawings to completion using the workshop machinery and bench joinery techniques. The ideal candidate will be able to manage the workshop and supervise trainee employees when required on a weekly basis.
Skills must include;
Be able to produce bespoke cabinetry, windows, doors, panelling's, mouldings and more from machining, assembly and finishing.
Ability to fully operate machinery including various saws, a digital spindle moulder, planer/ thicknesser etc.
Bench Joinery and Cabinet Making
Confident with various finishing techniques including hand painting, staining and lacquering to a high standard.
Fitting
Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
Able to manage workshop projects and trainees.
Have a good work ethic.
We work on a large range of projects including kitchens, fitted bedrooms and home offices, interior joinery, panelling, external doors and windows.
Terry Ashmore has an incredibly high focus on detail and the ability to work to a extremely high standard of quality is essential.
A minimum of 5+ years experience in a workshop environment is required.
The position is available for immediate start.
