✨ Recent Project Spotlight | The Prohibition Bar, Middlesbrough ✨

Towards the end of 2025, we had the pleasure of bringing part of the vision to life at The Prohibition Bar in Middlesbrough — a venue inspired by the glamour and mystery of the speakeasy era.

This project was all about creating atmosphere through carefully crafted seating and social spaces. Rich velvet upholstery, deep textures and marble table tops were used throughout to create a luxurious, intimate setting with real character.

From bespoke private booth seating designed for relaxed conversation, to elegant cocktail tables and high stools that encourage a vibrant social atmosphere, every element was built with both style and comfort in mind.

The aim was to create spaces where people naturally gather — whether that’s settling into a private booth with friends, enjoying cocktails around statement tables, or taking in the atmosphere from the bar seating.

Projects like this show how furniture can become part of the experience, helping shape not just how a venue looks, but how it feels.

Safe to say this one makes a statement 👀

We recently completed bespoke upholstered seating for Flower Café in Sunderland’s Keel Square — helping bring this vibrant new venue to life.

The brief was all about creating seating that felt inviting, comfortable and visually striking, while standing up to the demands of a busy hospitality environment.

From the sweeping booth seating to the bold colour choices, this project was a great example of how custom upholstery can completely shape the feel of a space.
