A reminder to anyone entering the Area Polocrosse Training and Competition Day on 13th June - entres are due on TUESDAY.
No previous experience needed - come and have some fun. On foot or ridden.
Learn a new sport and have fun. Any age welcome from lead rein to senior. Equipment provided.

At The Pony Club not every badge needs a pony!
Today a group of SDW members met at South Devon Dairy to learn about Countryside Access from Philip Hackett the BHS Access Field Officer for the South West. It was a wet and windy day and Niall Tewson very kindly let us keep dry in a cow shed. This made looking at maps ALOT easier! Philp and Lynsey then took the group for a walk using the maps and the features they could see to follow the route. By the time they returned an hour later the rain had stopped!
Thank you Philip for your time and expertise and well done to Mia, Brooke, Poppy, Evelyn, Esme, Freya, Faye, Cerys, Hannah and Poppy on passing their badge.

SDW members had FUN at Dartmoor PC Showjumping!
Our 40cm riders were especially delighted with their day!
In the 40cm Assisted the team came 2nd with Isla 7th, Fionnuala 5th and Aoife a fab 1st and in the 40cm Open Aoife completed the double taking the win in this class too! Ferne 2nd and Elsie 3rd making a top three SDW clean sweep. Along with Isla the team came a fantastic 1st.

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to James who took part in the Pony Racing Day at Exeter Racecourse with his two ponies Frankie and Russell. With the support of his brother Harry, James was incredibly consistent finishing 2nd on Frankie and 3rd on Russell. The highest placed Area 16 The Pony Club UK rider. Thank you South Devon Moorland PC for organising this day.
Well done James, SDW is super proud of you.
