We completed this timber deck replacement earlier in the week.

The original deck had become unsafe, preventing the homeowners from fully enjoying and safely accessing their outdoor safe. We removed the existing structure, and replaced with a solid new sturdy timber deck and stairs, ready to enjoy the summer.

… And you thought we were joking 😂

This week has been busy! And what is with this weather?! Stop, start, stop, start… definitely the downside of working with power tools outdoors. The sunshine has been nice when it does come out though — this garden is a bit of a sun trap ☀️

We’re making great progress on this timber deck over in St Helens. We haven’t done a timber deck for a little while now, but we’ve actually got quite a few coming up over the next few months, which is nice. Always good to mix things up a bit.

Looking forward to the weekend and hopefully a little bit of time off soon with the kids for half term. Still a few quotes to get written up from this week, so that’ll keep us busy over the weekend too!

Another lovely sunny morning to start a new job and a new week ☀️

As you can see, this timber deck has reached the end of its lifespan and become extremely unsafe for the owners to use. In places, the structure has completely rotted through, leaving holes and failed supports throughout the deck.

We’ll now be stripping it all back and replacing it with a brand new like-for-like timber structure and decking — creating a safe, solid outdoor space the owners can enjoy again for years to come.

A full decking transformation completed this week in Alverstone Garden Village ☀️

The existing timber decking had seen better days, so we removed the old deck and balustrade before rebuilding the area from the ground up.

We installed brand new timber subframes with timber and plaspro posts, replacing the original deck and creating an additional raised decking area to make better use of the garden space. The new composite decking boards were fitted using a hidden clip system for seamless finish.

We also created a step between the two deck levels and finished the project with a new post and rope balustrade feature.

A huge difference from the original layout and a great low-maintenance outdoor space ready for summer 👌

We are onto the finishing stages now at our job in Alverstone Garden Village. We just have the fascia to finish and some steps to build before the project is complete. It’s been such a lovely job, and the deck is looking fantastic — a great colour choice by the customer.

Emily has been inundated with emails and enquiries this week, and with the shorter week due to the bank holiday, it has definitely meant some longer days and a pretty hectic week behind the scenes! Please bear with us while we organise site visits and complete quoting write-ups — we will get back to everyone by the end of the week.

The diary is really filling up for the rest of the year now, and we’re even starting to receive enquiries for 2027, which is incredible.

We never take for granted the ability to work for ourselves, the dedicated team we have and the life we’ve built. Thank you to everyone who continues to support our small business 🤍
