CELEBRATING A YEAR OF ACHIEVEMENTS AT SAXEN

2025 has been a transformative year for Saxen. Following our exciting merger with The Office Crowd, we've redefined our vision and strengthened our commitment to innovation and community.

This year, we proudly launched RefurbHub at our stunning new Glasgow hub in Il Salotto, where we showcased our dedication to sustainability and design. Our launch event was a fantastic success, bringing together creative minds and inspiring ideas.

Our project portfolio has flourished, with standout collaborations including the fit-out for Savills in Glasgow and the Ashurst boardroom, plus our first full reuse project in the Burns Monument Centre. These projects reflect our ability to deliver quality solutions tailored to our clients’ needs.

We've also participated in numerous events, including the 2025 Ayrshire Business Week. Engaging with the community and sharing insights is at the heart of what we do.

As we close this chapter, we’re excited to build on this momentum in the coming year. Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey. Happy Christmas from the Saxen team, and here’s to more innovation and success ahead.

From a blank canvas to a productive workspace – Saxen is pleased to have supported Savills with their complete office fit-out in Glasgow.

We supplied a range of products, from loose furniture and bespoke fitted lockers to ceiling panels, working closely with our trusted manufacturer partners to deliver on time and within budget.

Many of the furniture items are designed and manufactured locally, including the room dividers, quiet booths, and all acoustic solutions. The wall coverings, ceiling panels, and bespoke rafts were made by Koala Acoustics in East Kilbride.

It was also important to Savills that each member of staff had access to a height-adjustable desk. Through the RefurbHub, we supplied refurbished Sedus desking, which was refurbished in-house at Saxen in Newmilns. Each desk was refreshed with powder-coated leg frames and components, and the original tops were reused, delivering a sustainable solution within budget.

Savills’ fit-out by Insite Group was in collaboration with Saxen, CBA Chartered Quantity Surveyors, Campbells Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, and Versatile Solutions Group.

And... we've launched.

What a brilliant day we had yesterday, celebrating our partnership with Il Salotto. The event opened up conversations about good design, sustainability, innovation, new recipes, and especially the necessity of reuse and refurbishment to close the loop and create a fully circular economy.

A huge thank you to Joanna Knight, Kevin Green, Sam Coggin, Ross Dutton, and Margaret Li for sharing your expertise and creating a space for open discussions.

And finally, thank you to Sara at Il Salotto for her hospitality – and endless nibbles. We're looking forward to what's next.
