It dates from the 1920s and features a beautiful woven cane or “bergere” back, together with a central carved motif. It is constructed of solid oak. It stands on cabriole/Queen Anne legs to the front and has curving, scroll arms.

I have just finished this beutiful 1800s arts and crafts love seat in white oak. Its been traditional upholstered using tacks and horse hair traditional webbing. And a l9vely Harris green wool tartan. This will be available at The Owl and The Pussycat from next week. This is a stunning project to be working on thank you Dan Brown for letting me use your workshop 😀. Loved every min off the process and learning new skills
