This is our French 1930's Converted Medical Heat Lamp. A lovely Vintage Industrial piece, originally a heat lamp and now converted to take conventional bulbs making a very stylish task or desk lamp.

It's Friday!! And today we are showcasing one of our favourite pieces - The Vintage English 1950's Shoe Factory Trolley.

A fine example of our English Industrial Heritage. This was such a unique and rare find in this beautiful vintage condition, full of wonderful authentic patina and marks of its historical past in a shoe factory or mill from circa 1940's/1950's. This original shoe rack trolley is robustly made, and still has its original wheels adding to its unique appeal.
This would make an ideal home storage solution, book shelf or even wine store! Equally a fabulous retail display!

Thursday we are showcasing our beautiful Vintage Shoe Lasts.

Each wooden shoe last has a history of its past and show signs of age and use by a shoemaker or cobbler. Many date back to circa 1920's. Made of hardwood and cast iron, the lasts had to be strong for stretching leather and shaping the shoes on them. The lasts have been hard waxed which emphasizes the amazing patina. They are now very versatile to stylishly decorate a home interior, and also useful as a door stop, book end or paper weight!

It's Wednesday! Today we are showcasing our 1950's French Larder Pantry Cupboard - for the Vintage Industrial Kitchen.

This beautiful original Larder would have been found in a circa 1950's French Vintage Kitchen. It has been refurbished and the metal pains takingly polished back, whilst maintining the patina suitable for the age, and painted inside. This is made of aluminium - that had generally been reclaimed from the war effort. It is a great example and would look fabulous in any eclectic kitchen interior.

Tuesday we are showcasing the Vintage Industrial Anglepoise Herbert Terry Trolley Floor Lamp.

This is a great example of this very rare English, circa 1940's, post war model floor lamp. Designed by George Cawardine and manufactured by Herbert Terry & Sons Ltd, Redditch. It would have originally been used in a medical and surgical setting. The trolley standard lamp moves well on its original castors, and adjusts and holds positions with a wide range of motion through the anglepoise design. Beautiful vintage polished condition maintaining its patina. A very versatile lamp, with a rare piece of history.

Professionally rewired and P.A.T tested.

Each day this week we are showcasing one of our unique items for sale!

Monday, today, is our beautiful Vintage Tambour Front Cabinet.
This is a mid century (c1950's) French Oak Cabinet (used for haberdashery or filing), with smooth working roller shutter and original key still working. Although a vintage item, it remains fully functional, with patina consistent with age and use. The 11 shelves are fixed. This is a fabulous piece of furniture that can be used for various storage needs!
