2003 Maxim Finance Ltd
The company filled a considerable part of this need, as its founder had skills in this area. A number of companies were formed to support both Maxim Finance and professional contractors who needed their own Ltd Company. Most of which still survive their original directors.
2005 Maxim Telecommunications Ltd
Was formed as a result of one of our directors, having contacts in communication platforms specifically the Mobile market.
2006 Maxim Security Ltd
Was established and brought with it a customer base in and around Newbury (the company’s headquarters).
2007 (4 consultancies)
We saw the need for more dedicated company structures, in line with the changing legislation of the Contractor market (IR35).
2008 (5 more consultancies)
Again responding to the changes in legislation regarding service companies (MSP’s)
2012 Major Security Solutions Ltd
We acquired this business as part of our organic growth profiling in the security market
2013 Rock-IT Group Ltd
We bought Rock-IT Group Ltd as the retirement of its previous Directors and the need for the group companies to be able to outsource to another organisation IT Support became quite an obvious acquisition for the group
2014 Maxim Pensions Ltd
The company was formed to provide a structures pension service to the group, and in also owns the Premises that we now occupy.
2015 Maxim Services Group
We began to consolidate into a single entity some of the companies above, because the administration of a number of separate companies with the same functions became increasing harder to maintain.
2018 m-placement resourcing
As another gap in the market arises, we have taken the opportunity to provide clients and candidates alike access to our placement services. More on this to come in 2018

In 2012 the opportunity to enhance our foothold in the Security Industry by the acquisition of Major Security Solutions Ltd a national company in security services. At the same time, we established GSS Consultants Ltd to strengthen and extend our ICT and telecoms service offerings, giving us the ability to deliver these services to a wider community that focussed on contact centre technology. In 2013, we took the opportunity to acquire the last part of the jigsaw, Rock IT Group Ltd. The rounding out of these companies as a group has allowed us to launch agentseats.com in 2015. As the services provided by these companies are in somewhat diverse areas we decided that it was time to formalise our position in what we consider to be the new market, “Services”. We believe that with the local economy turning away from traditional ‘Design to Distribution” models, it is time for a new breed of dynamic companies to evolve, these are companies that have the ability to meet client requirements spanning various elements of their business, assisting and guiding them to adapt to changes in their marketplace. With such things as Cloud Computing and Infrastructure becoming the commodities of tomorrow’s marketplace today, we are now well placed to assist across the spectrum.
