Merry Christmas from Furniture Works 2 Ltd Upholstery

One of the last jobs of the year has been delivered back today with one to go back Wednesday. Thank you to everyone for supporting our little business this year.
The diary is open for 2024 but for now Merry Christmas. Its time for some family time

A little cabinet restoration required. This was out of our comfort zone as it possibly would be with most people and companies.

The cabinet was made in 1914 the value of the item is priceless to the customer. This is a family heirloom that needed to be restored regardless of time or cost.

We have reconstructed the cabinet, re veneered in the quadranted style as it would have been originally and with a little help from our friends, we have brought this item of Furniture which was unrecognisable back to its full glory.

Made in 1914 restored in 2023.

The cabinet is approximately 108 year old and this should now stand the test of time for aleast a further 108 years.

We are very proud of the work and results 🙂

Another job completed and returned today to a happy customer 🙂

Restored a 12 year old highend Natuzzi Chair.

This is a cherished piece of furniture for comfort reasons. We have manufactured and fitted new leather to the headrest area, recovered the rest of the chair and applied protective sealant.

The chair looks brand new but is 12 year old.

Absolutely love the transformation of this footstool.

From the silver fabric to the patterned fabric.

This was recovered in the customer's own fabric.

It goes lovely with decor of the room.

I absolutely love the pattern on the fabric 🙂

Not our normal line of work however, a high end tv display cabinet was purchased which was designed to fit on a brick / solid wall.
We have had to adapt the cabinet and manufacture our own fixings to fix this to a stud wall due to the manufacturer not being able to help.
