A Little History
Established back in 1973, we mainly operated in the world of fitted kitchens – and the knowledge we gained from many years supplying kitchen furniture has given us a natural head-start when it comes to built-in and freestanding appliances.
The seeds were sown – and the Discount Appliance Centre was born!
Fast-forward twenty years and the Discount Appliance Centre is a go-to destination for all the latest white goods and kitchen appliances. We strive to keep getting better – offering better choice, better prices, better products and better service than any of the competition.

Then there’s our brand partnerships – we’re thrilled to be a retailer of many of the industry’s top brands, including Smeg, Euronics, Bosch, Neff, Siemens and many more. Our core partner brands include Samsung, Rangemaster, Fisher & Paykel, Liebherr and CDA – and we’ve been pioneers in achieving accreditation from these big names. In 2011 we become the UK’s first Siemens ECO Centre, and we were the first ever Rangemaster Design Centre showroom in the Midlands. There has been expansion of our display centres from Smeg and AGA. 2018 saw the installation of our Fisher & Paykel area including our digital product guide in a huge vertical touchscreen console.
We regularly hold demonstration days – so if you’re not sure how to work that coffee machine or if you think you want to see a wine cooler in action before you commit to buy, come along. Get to know our products, watch them at work and gauge whether they’re the right fit for your home. We feel this ‘hands-on’ approach really completes the modern purchasing experience, and we encourage people to get involved.
