Honestly just don’t understand why this keeps happening, we are trying to brighten the High Street for all to enjoy and plants are being ripped out and potatoes planted, I mean really !!! This is almost the last straw for this committee who all have our own busy lives and time and time again our efforts are ruined ! If anyone has any idea or saw who did this please message the page please.

Is there anyone who could spare a couple hours every week through the summer to help w**d and water our Planters when required. We are really short on volunteers and to keep it going we really need a few extra pairs of hands. If this is something you could do please let us know by message and we’ll get back to you. We really want to keep our planters blooming throughout the summer 🌺🌸🌼🌹

Very sad and angry to report yet another act of vandalism on our 2 beds outside Boots. Such a shame that people can’t enjoy some nice plants due to mindless vandalism!
It’s annoying for our group but in particular we feel so sorry for the family that maintain these planters. They give their time freely and travel in and out from Hillside to tend these planters.

Our local hero this week is…the volunteers Blooming Montrose volunteers and helpers.

They offered up their time to plant daffodil bulbs in the grassy area near Ferry Street.

We look forward to seeing these pop up in Spring🌼🌼
