Cabinet Maker / Wood Machinist.

Workshop based Bespoke manufacturing environment of quality kitchens, bedroom and associated furniture. You will be required to manufacture furniture and components, set out, fabricate, assemble prepare to pre polishing stage. Final assembly kitting out, fitting of hardware etc to finished items. Ability to use traditional wood working machines may include Rip saw, dimension saw, spindle moulders, planner moulders, sanders, guillotines, etc an advantage. Experience of furniture manufacture in a quality environment essential. Further specialist experience in eg turning, veneering, CNC operating, CAD/CAM drawing and or programming an advantage. Additional upskill training is a possibility for the right candidate.
High quality work shop, well equipped and health and safety aware environment.
Knowledge
• Good working knowledge of the Furniture manufacture.
• Good working knowledge of materials and construction techniques.
• Be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the woodworking industry.
• Understand and select timber and timber products for furniture production.
• Read and interpret work documents in order to prepare accurate component’s, sub-assemblies and completed items.
• Demonstrate a commitment to on-going learning and development and participate in any training relevant to the job.
• Proven relevant qualifications or suitable sustained employment & experience.
Rates of pay £19,000 to £25,500 depending on experience and skill level (following probationary period)

Normal Hours 8.30 – 12.30 1.00 - 5.00 Monday to Friday 40 hours per week.
Leave/Holidays 2.333 days per month (28 days per year)
