We were honoured to be asked to present the DCCL Division 10 North Championship trophy to Youlgrave Lodge Cricket Club on Saturday at Alport Lane following their final game of the season.

What a transformation.

This kitchen was fully stripped back, including the existing plasterwork, so we could rebuild the room properly from the ground up.

We levelled the floor, installed underfloor heating, and tiled throughout, creating the ideal foundation for this stunning hand-painted kitchen in Farrow & Ball Lancaster Yellow No. 249, finished with beautiful natural granite worktops.

One feature we’re especially proud of is the walk-in larder. What was once a dark, unused corner is now a practical, beautifully organised storage space. Complete with lighting and a PIR sensor, it shows how thoughtful design can make the most of every inch.

From stripping the room back to its bones to creating a kitchen that feels perfectly at home, this project has been a true labour of love.
A huge well done to everyone involved — another fantastic Goodwins transformation.

Bespoke Details ✨

We just had to show you this little beauty from one of our ongoing projects!

This completely bespoke basin unit has been handmade from ply, finished with a reclaimed scaffold board worktop, and paired with a stunning bespoke hand-painted basin. 🖌️

To finish it off, we’ve added beautifully hand-painted wall tiles, creating a truly unique combination of textures, colours and character.

There’s still more to come on this project, and we can’t wait to see the finished result! 👀

From unused space to a utility room that works!

This transformation is all about making the most of every inch of space and creating a room that is as practical as it is stylish.

We’ve turned this room into a fantastic utility space, complete with a sink and dedicated washing area, tall larder units, deep pan drawers and a handy walk-in storage room – giving our customer plenty of storage while keeping everything neat and organised.

We even made use of the existing chimney area, transforming it into a bespoke wine rack with adjustable shelving – proving that awkward spaces can become fantastic features!

The floor was completely levelled and underfloor heating installed, adding that extra touch of comfort and making the room a pleasure to use.

A truly functional, practical and beautifully designed utility room, where no space has been wasted.
