Hello 😍 This BEAUTIFUL caned armchair, was restored by my customer - she taught herself to cane, and all the woodwork was stripped back. It must of took AGES. The seat has been rebuilt using methods - and rolled edges to form the shape. Built up with coconut fibre, horse hair and topped with needles-wool felt, before being dressed in this gorgeous fabric from . Feather cushions, for even more@luxury on top ❤️

I think other upholsterers will agree, it’s very rare that we prioritise our own furniture ! But this is sofa is mine! I LOVE the linen, but I have something to admit…. the fabric is upside down! I cut the cushion fabric out for the inside backs before I realised, and KNEW I had ordered JUST enough to do the job… I’m going to make some Roman blinds too to match, but I’ll have to make that upside down so it matches 🤣 Oopsie! Do you think it matters? Too late now if it does haha
