Our Story

Here at New England Furniture, we have a passion for restoring our clients' old and, very often, much-loved items of furniture, in the New England tradition. We spend a great deal of time preparing each item, first sanding it and fixing it (where required) so that, once we start to paint it, it’s going to look absolutely stunning.We normally only use the finest Farrow & Ball (estate eggshell) paints because they give a stunning lustre and quality of finish. However, if you have a particular brand and colour of paint you want us to use on your item(s), just let us know and we will source it.Each item gets a minimum of six coats of paint (two of undercoat and four of top coat). Usually, the last top coat is spray-painted, in order to give a silky-smooth finish.

We stand (or fall) by our reputation and we guarantee you that, if we restore an item that you are not 100% satisfied with, you will owe us nothing.

We offer a free collection and re-delivery service within most of Yorkshire and Lincolnshire so please contact us to discuss your needs.
