Hours of planning to make a quirky, retro metal make up storeage box. Two coats of metal primer - dry overnight . Paint undercoat and dry . Tape off and paint second colour . Design and print transfer onto water transparent decal paper . Spray transfer and leave to dry . Second coat of varnish on transfer and dry . Third coat of spray varnish and dry . Second coat /touch up paint on tin - dry overnight. Try to soak transfer and it just messed up , so back to square one but use decoupage paper . Mod podge transfer and coat in varnish sealant . Dry then apply second coat . Glue fabric binding around edge of case . All in all - days of work and the result is …. CRAP !
It’s a good job that I start my day job again on Monday 😂
