Following on from my last post - this lovely little blind went in the en suite for that previous bedroom. When I showed my customer the fabrics from Sarah Hardaker she absolutely loved them and we have used them dotted around the whole house. This blind was a lovely fabric from Sarah’s most recent collection with a pompom from Amy O'Reilly to finish it off. Room schemes by Elaine Lewis

Fitted these lovely curtains recently - this home had slightly awkward bedroom windows - and given my customer was really keen to have full length curtains - there’s always a slight compromise along the way to make - curtains are not 100% vertical as had to fit into window recess but in use they are great I think a still photo points out the issue more. Anyway - let’s not focus on the negatives!…. Beautiful fabric from Swaffer -Alan Symonds & Co Ltd with a pompom from Amy O'Reilly and hung on a supplied by Warwick Mogford These just finished off this lovely guest room perfectly.

I made this Roman earlier in the summer but didn’t post a photo of it - I really loved this combination of colour and pattern - it was a fabulous choice to go with a big patterned wallpaper - we all need more colour in our lives!…. Recently fitted these blinds neatly tucked into the recess of this pretty window. I always think that a pelmet really finishes off nicely a roman blind - my customers aren’t always convinced but hopefully you can see here how it works well. Fabric from Ashley Wilde Fabrics and childsafe hardware from Evans Textiles
