Last winter we were asked to provide various furniture items for an exciting new wedding / party / events space at Birdsall House, a sympathetic conversion of the former kitchens and servants rooms. One of the spaces we were involved with was the old servants hall. Primarily this was where the staff would have gathered for meal times, but it would also have served as a common room for down time. This is a kitchen we manufactured for a long term customer as part of their latest renovations of their home near Huddersfield. Hand painted in little greene ‘olive colour’, it works very well with the hand finished oak flooring which was also installed as part of the scheme.
