Our Latest Orangery .
Our customers builders provided a perfect base for us to erect our Hardwood frames , gluelam beams, joists and Hardwood lantern . A big thank you to Kris Stammers and Will French for providing the muscle for the Glulams , also to JG Roofing for the Rubber bond and Billy for the Lead flashing ! We have now handed the job back to the local builders to plaster , screed floor and lay slabs around the building . Can’t wait to see it all completed .

Nice position for an Orangery don’t you think ?

About 2 years ago we were asked if we could come up with a design for an Orangery to fit this old Victoria style conservatory base , after eventually convincing our client that squaring off the building would give her a far greater living area , we proceeded with drawings of the new design and an estimate for our proposal. Having been given the go ahead things became difficult as our order book was full , thankfully we were able to make a start back in December ( not the best time of the year for building!) , having removed the old conservatory, internal walls and old foundations it Snowed / Rained for days .
Well I am pleased to say that last week I was able to revisit to take photos now that the hardwood floor is down and our client can soon start to enjoy her new Orangery .
