In case you don’t already know, I’m the owner of Squire Furnishings.
I’ve posted a couple of clips from this video, but decided to post the whole thing.
This is my very first video featuring… well, me! Normally I’m much happier behind the camera than in front of it. In fact, if you spot me in the corner of the screen, that’s only because I’ve just discovered picture-in-picture! 😅
To be fair, my 10-year-old showed me how to do it, so all credit goes to him. 👊🏻
If you make it to the end, congratulations — it’s a bit longer than the average social media video, but it gives you a genuine look around the business that has been my passion for over 30 years.
I first opened Squire Furnishings in Sutton-on-Sea back in 1995. We traded happily there for more than 25 years before COVID gave me something many business owners rarely get: time to stop and think. After plenty of reflection, I decided it was time to grow the business and see just how far we could take it.
Today, we’re proud to operate two stores serving the Lincolnshire coast:
📍 Mablethorpe – our main furniture showroom, packed with quality sofas, chairs, beds, dining furniture, flooring, lighting, home accessories and much more.
📍 Skegness – home to Lincolnshire’s specialist High Seat & Recliner Centre, where we help people enjoy greater comfort, independence and support. We have one of the area’s largest displays of riser recliners, high-seat chairs, adjustable beds, recliner suites and specialist comfort furniture.
This video is a tour of our Mablethorpe store, where you’ll usually find me on a day-to-day basis. Whether you’re looking for a complete room makeover, a new sofa, a better night’s sleep, or simply some inspiration, I hope you’ll enjoy having a look around.
