Using our on-site stocks of timber, kilning, milling and machining facilities at our own premises, we are able to offer a rapid turnaround and nationwide delivery on all our hardwood timber, softwoods, and timber products.

So recently a customer came to us wanting some European Oak Air Dried 150mm, he had previously had issues but using our network of mills over in France we managed to source this beauty. The air drying process brilliantly managed by the mill ensuring no checking at all on the boards.

Here at Whitmore's Timber we love timber in all its forms. Yes, the European Oak Boules and Beams are showstoppers but Tulipwood and Sapele are absolute staples in our yard, and for good reason.
February has had a real strong start, the mill is super busy, and we’re ready to welcome new customers. If you’re considering a new timber supplier, we’d love to talk.

First off that skyline over the Whitmore's Timber Co. Ltd yard this morning and secondly those Oak Boules freshly delivered over from France.
It has been a really busy start to 2026 so the timing of this load is perfect.

We would like to announce and share with you all our Christmas opening hours.

Our site will close at 12-00pm on Monday 22nd December and re-open on Monday 5th January at 8-00am
Our last day for customer deliveries will be Friday 19th December.

When it’s been a cold week, the best way to stay warm is to keep busy and our mill has certainly done that!
We’ve been flat out processing orders for our customers, from detailed profiled jobs like the Oak Decking shown in the photo to straightforward PAR cutting lists.
Our orders lane is fully loaded and ready to head out to end users today.
If you’re looking for any machined timber work, just give us a shout. All we need is your cutting list and we’ll take care of the rest.
