EXTRA LARGE reclaimed whisky butts!!!

Ordered/delivered to a customer who wanted them for an Olive tree and Palm tree.

This barrel was 4.5 feet tall and about 3 feet across the middle when it arrived, but of a monster but it turned out lovely!!

This type of barrel is also ideal as a cold water plunge tub for those who are looking for something to blend into the garden!!

Solid oak serving platter/cheese board made from the lid of an old wine barrel…..this measures 57cm across and is a nice solid piece.
Stamp mark and vintners name plate have been left on.

What is better than wine and cheese on these lovely summer evenings!!

Currently sat Quorn Car Boot Sale with half barrel planters for sale and a variety of items that we make on display.

Half barrels are £25 and available to either take with you or have them delivered this afternoon.

For everyone that has bought a half barrel from me in recent weeks.

If you haven’t planted anything in them yet, please make sure you put these into the shade and fill them with water, if not the wood will dry out and shrink (due to the heat) and the metal hoops will drop off. This will cause them to fall apart.

Once planted the pressure of the roots/soil will ensure the hoops don’t drop and there is no issue about over watering as the wood will soak up any excess water in the planters.

I have ex wine barrels at this time which have the galvanised bands rather than the rusted steel bands.

Bit of a productive day today……finished off an order for a clock and some bottle openers with engraving on them.

Started on a set of drinks coasters, these will be sanded and have a nice picture engraved on them specific to the owner.

Started on a barrel head that will be used as a flat surface on a large foot stool for a customer……bit of work left to do as the glue is just setting!!!

All items that I make are made to order. If you would like anything from the pages drop me a message to discuss options and place an order.

Please make sure that any orders placed for are in before 01st December to ensure delivery for Christmas!!
