We were lucky enough to get a week on the snow at the end of the season. So we decided to explore some concepts we’ve been thinking about for ‘utility’ vehicles. This van isn’t set up as a full blown camper, but works exceptionally well as a family vehicle where you need lots of gear carrying capacity and the ability to do journeys that take multiple days.
One big area for development in this vehicle is gear organisation in the rear.

A lot of work has gone into this kitchen module. And real moment of relief to find that all of the dimensions are correct and that the computer model matches the real thing.

Now to crack on with the other furniture modules.

It’s been far too long since the last update. All the prep work in the background is now starting to pay off. This build has quite a different aesthetic than previous builds, but that doesn’t change the core attributes of a solidly built camper where every screw, piece of plywood or cable has been carefully thought out, selected and installed.

Our 2024/2025 winter Highlands trip is under way. Had a great night in a Bothy after a hike with all our gear and wood for the log burner. Sadly the weather has ruined our chances for snow sports, fingers crossed for a change by the end of the week.

At the core of our builds is the customer experience. Right from the base of the build this is considered; that’s why we use a 2/3 layered system to minimise noise and maximise thermal performance of our campers.
On the walls and ceiling we use Sound Deadening, Sound Isolation and Thermal Insulation. To maximise headroom in the cabin we use an advanced hybrid deadening/insulating material.

Took a day out to Motorcycle Live today to have a chat about Motorbike campers. Whilst there met up with the very friendly staff on the stand.

Great demo from and .harvey33 on the display area. Also great to chat with the guys on the stand. Highly recommended if you’re thinking about getting a Motorbike license or want to do some refresher training.

That’s a wrap on our Outer Hebridean adventure, the Isles of Harris/Lewis were amazing. Breathtaking scenery, great wildlife, amazing beaches and wonderful people. Highly recommended!!!
