The double coned springs make for a firm but comfortable seat and the striking fabric is beautifully complemented by the braid.

I've been working on these 'turn of the century' chairs recently. Amazing what you find when you strip the layers back and put right someone else's 'attempt' to restore.

New webbing, hessian, and coir fibre replaced using the traditional methods of upholstery, topped off with the original leather at the customer's request.

Should be good for another 100 years at least now 👍⛏️✂️
