LOTS OF AMAZING INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS IN MARSH & MICKLEFIELD WHO GIVE THEIR TIME AND ENERGY TO THE COMMUNITY - GET NOMINATING!

High Wycombe Community Board is now accepting nominations for the 2024 Proud of Bucks Awards sponsored by The Clare Foundation.

The awards aim to recognise and celebrate outstanding community contribution carried out by local individuals, groups, and organisations. They celebrate local volunteers that have made a positive impact in their communities.

This year, each of Buckinghamshire’s 16 Community Boards will be celebrating local people in three award categories. Members of the public are invited to submit their nominations for those who they feel deserve recognition and praise. The three award categories are:

. The good neighbour award – for an adult 21+ who has made different in their local community such as through neighbourhood schemes, supporting voluntary causes, befriending services.
The young champion award – for a young person under 21 who has made a significant contribution towards their local community e.g. through volunteering, supporting a charitable cause, or championing their peers.
The outstanding group award – to recognise and celebrate a voluntary group in the local area who has made a positive impact on their community such as delivering a service, championing a cohort of residents or supporting and enhancing local spaces.

If you would like assistance with your nomination, pop into your local Buckinghamshire library where our friendly staff will be only too happy to help.

Find out more about the awards and nominate someone today: www.buckinghamshire.gov.uk/PoB-awards Nominations close on Sunday 11th August!
