Outstanding original George III antique quality figured walnut chest of drawers circa 1780. Quarter cut figured walnut bur veneered top with round centre detail and cross banded. Two short over three long figured walnut cockbeeded drawers with original brass handles and escutcheons standing on original bracket feet.

I have given the chest a light clean and re-polish being very carful to retain its original patina

A great design by John Piper - stylised flowers in purple/blue colour way for Terence Conran/ Habitat 1960’s. Good quality formica, welded steel frame with handy plywood black painted magazine shelf. This would have retailed through Habitat or Heals of London.
